Through out life each individual has to overcome hard challenges and obstacle in order to prepare them self for the real world. Sometime these challenges shape our life and our future, Do you believe that our life's are already predetermined or is it destined out by faith?
I believe that our lives are destined by faith. Nobody knows if we would be rich or poor, successful or unsuccessful throughout our lives. It's something that is challenge by each individual whether they make the right/positive decisions in life. People that predict the future such as fortune tellers, can be wrong at times with their senses and feelings towards the outcome of the situation. Most importantly if our lives were predetermined, then there wouldn't be any surprises to what would happen in the future.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion both are the same thing because predetermination is when it has already been decided, and destiny is when it is written and it was bound to happen so in my opinion there is much difference. yes i do believe that one’s life is predetermined and destined because i believe that there is someone (GOD) who knows better than i do and makes the choices for me that are right and will take me through ups and downs to make me learn about what’s right or wrong. I agree with Mai and what is perfectly well said that we don’t decide how much one will study throughout their life and how much money one will make before they die. Life in my opinion is destined to go the way it is going and we can help bend it but not change it because it for our own betterment.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Hassan, our lives are predetermined by the one and only God. No fortune teller or whatever is able to tell you your future because they don’t know s***. I believe you are brought into this world with your whole life written out for you already. At times you think it’s your decision, but it really isn’t. You were meant to be confused and make the decision at the moment. God knows everything & is the greatest being known. Aside from my religion I’m sure other religions believe God knows exactly what’s going on in this world. When you are in your worse situation, God will help you out because that how it was planned out for you. So yes I believe our lives are predetermined by God and ONLY God.
ReplyDeleteyou all make very valid points. The reason for this question is because i find that often times many people believe that they are the one that controls there faith. Thinking that if they do good there future will out good, some even think that if they do bad nothing bad will happen to them.Isn't it God who determines or faith? rather then us determining whether or not our future will be designed to the destiny we would like it to be?
ReplyDeleteOur lives are predetermined because when we are born there is a time of birth, place of birth, and your name. All of this effects your predetermined life because this correlates with the 9 planets. In Hindu astrology many factors are combined and can reveal what is going to happen in your future. I got my reading from a Hindu Pundit who read the chart where my name lies and the time I was born. Everything he said I already knew about myself. He predicted everything right without me saying a single word. This has made me believe in predetermined destiny.
ReplyDeleteOur lives are pre-determined but to an extent, I believe that the choices aren't written for you but the path after that is. If our life was all pre-determined why would murders go to jail? Couldn't they say that they didn't choose this but god did, free-will would also be a joke because it wouldn't be free, your life is al written down for you. I believe you have the choices and life isn't always pre-determined, lets say for example you have a choice between studying for a test the next day or going out partying, the choice is yours but the consequence after that is written down. Your choices decide your fate/destiny.
