If God created Adam and Eve, and then they had Cain and Abel, where did the wife of Cain come from? How did they produce the human race if there were only three of them to begin with?
Being taught from the Christian Religion, from what I know. God indeed created Adam and Eve. Using my common sense, God did not create Cain and Abel. Adam and Eve created Cain and Abel by giving birth to them. If you want to trace it back to God creating Adam and Eve in the first place, then I guess you can say then that God did create Cain and Abel. What I also learned is that Adam and Eve had many other children, which were apparently not mentioned within the Bible for they did not have much importance as Cain and Abel did. I don't know this for sure, and to be honest I don't think there is any way for anyone of us to discover the truth because there are so many stories as to what really happened.
Hey Zaynab! The Islamic story says that the Prophet Adam (PBUH) and his wife Eve had a number of children. His first two were called Qabeel (Cain) and his twin sister Eklema, they both came out from the same stomach. Then their second two were called Habeel (Abel) and his twin sister Labuda. Abel was to marry the twin sister of Cain, Eklema; and Cain was to marry the twin sister of Abel, Labuda. The Laws of incest was not made then. By the way, even if you believe in evolution, all life would have had to come from a limited group of common ancestors so it would require the same type of explanation...
